These Honda’s are built by HPD in California, not the same Honda as in F1, though they are looking pretty good in F1 right now .
Honda did win the manufacturers championship last year from Chevy (Ilmor). Ilmor incidentally used to make the Honda Indy engines by contract for a long time before the contract switched over to Chevy.
